This striking W108 250S arrived in running but neglected condition, wearing decades of deferred maintenance beneath its original light blue paint. The two-tone color scheme of DB 334 Light Blue over DB 158 White-Grey on the lower body presented a rewarding challenge.
The restoration involved a complete strip to bare metal, revealing solid structure beneath the surface rust. Panel gaps were corrected, chrome was replated, and the body was refinished in the factory two-tone specification. The M108 inline-six received a full rebuild including new pistons, a reground camshaft, and rebuilt carburetors.
The parchment interior was restored using correct-specification materials sourced from Germany. This 250S is now available in our Jacksonville showroom, representing one of the more refined examples of the early W108 series.
